Sam Permut, the agent of free agent guard Danny Green, revealed that Green has reached a one-year contract with the 76ers.
The 36-year-old Green played for the Grizzlies and the Cavaliers last season. He had previously played for the 76ers for two seasons and had a three-point shooting percentage of 39.5%.
Since 2011, Green has been one of only three players to play in at least one playoff game every year. The other two players are James Harden and Chris Paul.
Since the 2009-10 season, Green has made a total of 655 corner threes, second only to PJ Tucker and Trevor Ariza during the same period.
Among active non-All-Star players, Danny Green has the most playoff wins, the highest winning percentage, and the most playoff three-pointers.
Danny Green has won championships with the Spurs in 2014, the Raptors in 2019, and the Lakers in 2020.
In Game 6 of the 2022 Eastern Conference semifinals, Green represented the 76ers but suffered a torn left anterior cruciate ligament and lateral collateral ligament. He was later traded to the Grizzlies.
In the 2022-23 season, Green was traded to the Rockets, then waived and signed with the Cavaliers.
He played a total of 11 games throughout the season, averaging 12.5 minutes and 5.5 points per game.
